Industrial duty solenoid operated shoe brakes are electrically released and spring actuated providing “fail-safe” operation. The retarding torque developed is directly proportional to the spring pressure. All solenoid operated brakes offer a high friction material that maintains high head resistance over a wide temperature range. These brakes are designed and recommended for use and mounting only in the floor position
