Crouse-Hinds series CEAG GHG 62 flameproof Ex-d encapsulated components are integrated into Increased Safety Ex-e enclosures. These components are of modular design, so they can be easily combined according to customers’ requirements. Four enclosure sizes provide enough space for whichever modules are required: MCBs, RCDs, RCBOs or motor starters. Protected by a transparent flap, all modules can be conveniently monitored and operated.

The modules are inserted into the power distribution device by simple snap-on rail mounting, allowing for quick and cost-efficient replacements or additions. MCBs, RCDs, RCBOs and power circuit breakers can be equipped with a lock in the OFF position, protecting the user from inadvertent switching into the ON position.
By combining GHG 62 series encapsulated MCBs, RCDs and RCBOs with our GHG 6277 encapsulated MCCBs and our GHG 758 Ex-e busbar system, Eaton can provide complete distribution panels for motor or power circuits without the need for expensive and heavy Ex-d enclosures.
